Flushing is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Flushing is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

"Even though I’ve moved to Long Island, I still travel to see Dr. Marks for all my dental work. I’ve been a patient for 15 years and wouldn’t dream of changing dentist. The entire experience is seamless. Jill, the office manager, is incredibleβ€”she’s high-energy, sweet, always welcoming with a warm smile. Remarkably efficient with paperwork, insurance and always accommodating for future appointments. One great thing you never have to wait to be called in. They hold true to appointment times. As for Dr. Marks, he is thorough, professional, and patient. He takes the time to explain every step and answers every question. He provides prevention steps and guidance to keep teeth healthy. Now the best part: Since day one, he’s told me, "Don’t worry, it will be pain-free", and he has ALWAYS delivered on that promiseβ€”even for major procedures like root canals and extractions. I have never felt any discomfort when he is doing any procedure. The team’s commitment to patient comfort is unmatched. I cannot recommend Dr. Marks and his staff highly enough."

I had an incredible experience with Dr. Marks. At the time I had no insurance and was in the most excruciating pain he took a fraction of a deposit just to get me out of pain. It was a Saturday and very last minute every other dentist I called rejected me, but Dr. Marks didn’t hesitate to help. He was kind, understanding, and fit me in when I truly needed it. During the procedure he was extremely gentle and skilled. I felt absolutely no pain the entire time, and I didn’t even feel the needle when he injected the anesthetic. His level of experience really shows in the way he works and how comfortable he makes his patients feel. I’m so grateful that he was willing to see me when no one else would. Not only did he relieve my pain, but he also provided an amazing overall experience. I highly recommend Dr. Marks to anyone looking for a caring and highly experienced dentist.

Over the past two weeks, my daughter Gigi had been complaining of a toothache and feeling very uncomfortable. It was already 6 p.m., and without an appointment, I searched for a nearby dentist. I’m so grateful that they were still willing to accept us in the last ten minutes before closing. Dr. Max Marks is truly amazing and has such a kind heart. He was gentle, patient, and made the entire process much easier than I expected. I highly recommend him. The receptionist, Ms. Jill, was also incredibly warm and helpful from start to finish. She helped my daughter feel calm before the procedure and checked in on her afterward, which meant a lot to us. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we are very thankful for their care.
